Located at 1,000 meters above sea level, Sulzberg offers a 360° view of the Bregenz Forest and the surrounding Alps. The village center with several traditional restaurants is within five minutes’ walking distance. Here you will also find the Sulzberger Käserebellen – a well-stocked farm and cheese shop, which has already received several international awards. Other local produce can be found at the local bakery or grocery store. Sulzberg is a popular destination for long walks or cycling tours.
From Sulzberg, you can drive to the state capital of Bregenz and the Lake of Constance in 20 minutes by car. There you can explore the lake shore by bike. The Bregenz Festival offers a cultural highlight with its plays on the lake on the world’s largest floating stage in July and August. If you like to enjoy the view from the top, you can do so on the Pfänder mountain or the Dornbirn Karren. For all lovers of contemporary art, the Kunsthaus Bregenz (KUB) is worth a visit.
